Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Management: Assist with the overall management and operations of the AMEX Centurion Lounge, ensuring that services offered to customers are of superior quality.
  • Office Services: Organize and manage daily activities and events, project and move management, development of office standards and policies, management of vendor contracts, new hire orientation assistance, communication of events or service announcements, monthly newsletter, and maintenance of intranet pages.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relations, coordinate with outside vendors, monitor performance and quality levels, and research new vendors.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure safety and security for the facility, emergency response plans, compliance with all local regulatory requirements, function as the after-hours contact for property management, and training of office emergency procedures.
  • Purchasing and Reporting: Manage and track all financial reports, attendance, payroll, maintain inventory, service reports, and accomplishments.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years management experience with increasing levels of responsibility within facilities services or other service-related field preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to meet deadlines, make sound decisions in stressful situations, strong customer service skills, creative problem-solving skills, ability to identify strong talent, experience in working with outside vendors, accounts payable/receivable, and budget management preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency using the Internet and Microsoft Office programs, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
