Job Role: CNC Machinist and Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist and Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at ActiveSoft, Inc. as a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient CNC programming and machining processes to support production.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate and efficient production processes.
  • Design and create technical drawings and CNC programs to support manufacturing operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and machining.
  • Work closely with production operators to improve processes and skill sets.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience programming in Mastercam.
  • At least 5 years of experience with machining and milling, both manual and CNC milling.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tool selection, and machining parameters.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, geometric dimensions, and tolerances (GD&T), and quality specifications.
  • Ability to work within our value system.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks in a manufacturing environment.
