PrideStaff is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join their team. As a key member of the organization, this individual will be responsible for implementing human resources programs, providing HR services, and developing solutions to improve manager and employee performance.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Implement human resources programs by providing HR services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations.
  • Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
  • Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees.
  • Complete special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.
  • Manage client expectations by communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements:

  • Confidentiality is a must.
  • Ability to follow policy and procedures.
  • Pass a Microsoft Word and Excel test, as well as an alphanumeric data entry and writing test.
  • Comfortable with technology and able to create a software build out.
  • Experience working in a leasing office or administrative office with accounts receivable preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll a plus.
  • Legal experience with knowledge of compliance on life and health benefits, insurance, and compensation a plus.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to originate writing materials.
  • Media and/or communication experience preferred.
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday from 8-5 p.m.
