We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Journal Technologies. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
Perform manual and automated testing to identify and document software defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues promptly.
Conduct regression testing to ensure new features and bug fixes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of software quality guidelines and standards.
Participate in the review of software design, product requirements, and specifications.
Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related field.
Proficient with QA methodologies, tools, and techniques, and ability to apply knowledge to perform the job.
Experience with both manual and automated testing tools, and knowledge of Agile/Scrum framework.
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting is a plus, as is knowledge of Selenium.
Strong problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
