Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to install, uninstall, and operate portable laser systems and associated equipment at various client locations.
- Calibration and programming of equipment must be completed for surgeon approval prior to any surgical procedures.
- Responsible for operating both laser systems when required.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and repairs on laser systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot, replace components, and calibrate lasers according to vendor specifications.
- Maintain all company equipment in excellent working condition.
- Follow company standard operating procedures that meet or exceed the established standards of care.
- Complete Annual and Semi-Annual Preventative Maintenance checks and services on all assigned equipment, ensuring all paperwork is accurately filled out during and after maintenance.
- Understand and adhere to proper sterile techniques.
- Must be willing and able to perform manual labor.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Laser Electro-optics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Biomedical Electronics, Electronics, or equivalent military training.
- Proficient in basic electronics and the use of associated testing equipment.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules and travel as needed.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- A valid Driver's License is required.
- Must be able to pass a company-administered road test.
- Capability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential.
