Laser Systems Specialist

Sightpath Medical, LLC is seeking a skilled Laser Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and operating transportable lasers and related equipment at customer sites.
You will work closely with surgeons and their teams to ensure seamless surgical procedures, troubleshooting equipment issues efficiently, and adhering to sterile techniques to ensure patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and operate transportable lasers and related equipment at customer sites.
- Ensure all equipment is programmed and calibrated to surgeon specifications prior to surgeries.
- Support surgeons during surgery to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently, ensuring seamless surgical procedures.
- Adhere to sterile techniques during surgeries to ensure patient safety.
Requirements:
- Technical degree in Laser Electro-optics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or a similar field.
- Hands-on experience with basic electronics and test equipment.
- Proficiency with laser systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
