Sightpath Medical is a leading provider of cataract and LASIK mobile services in the U.S. We offer a challenging and rewarding environment where you'll work with smart, fun, and energetic people.

As a Laser Engineer, you'll be responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining transportable lasers and related equipment at customer sites. You'll also be responsible for calibration and programming of equipment for surgeon's approval prior to surgery being performed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing and operating transportable lasers and related equipment
  • Calibrating and programming equipment for surgeon's approval
  • Providing routine preventative maintenance and repairs on laser systems
  • Troubleshooting, removing, and replacing components of the laser
  • Maintaining all company assets in good working order

Requirements:

  • Degree in Laser Electro-optics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Biomedical Electronics, Electronics, or military training equivalent
  • Proficiency with basic electronics and associated test equipment
  • Able to work a varied work schedule and travel
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass company administered road test
