Sales Food Distribution Account Manager

We are GTN – The Go To Network, and we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Food Distribution Account Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify potential clients and initiate contact to cultivate relationships
  • Develop and maintain industry knowledge to stay ahead of the competition
  • Present and sell company food products to new and existing clients
  • Offer product samples and demonstrations to introduce products and attract new customers
  • Collaborate with culinary teams or chefs to tailor products to clients' needs
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with clients
  • Collect and process customer orders efficiently
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Provide customer feedback to company management and product development teams
  • Coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues related to deliveries or product quality
  • Attend food service industry trade shows and events to network and promote products
  • Develop and maintain an efficient sales route to maximize customer contact and satisfaction
  • Cold call prospective customers
  • Regularly review customer accounts and follow up on issues as needed
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in Food Industry Sales
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers and tablets
  • Valid US work authorization and a valid Driver License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

We are looking for a self-starter who can work with little to no direct supervision. Bilingual skills are a plus.
