Key Responsibilities:

The Revenue Accountant role is an integral part of our finance and accounting team, tasked with a variety of accounting functions related to revenue collection. Responsibilities include accurately computing and recording financial transactions within the resort's accounting system, conducting thorough audits to ensure precision, and liaising with various departments to address needs and resolve any discrepancies. This position also encompasses the billing and collection processes for wholesale travel agents, collaborating with internal teams to monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and other irregularities.

This role requires a degree of independence in managing responsibilities, and the ideal candidate should possess familiarity with relevant software applications (including Microsoft Office), demonstrate strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, and exhibit excellent written and verbal communication abilities. A collaborative spirit and the ability to foster positive working relationships are essential. This is a full-time, year-round position with eligibility for benefits.

Compensation: Starting at $24.00/hr + DOE

Primary Duties:
  • Execute cash transactions and perform audits
  • Record all payments in the company’s financial systems
  • Conduct daily reconciliations of hotel revenue
  • Accurately document transactions for annual audits and investigate any discrepancies or disputes
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders regarding revenue transactions
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable/receivable or related accounting roles - preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in hotel accounting - preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience - preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent - required
  • Strong command of written and spoken English - required
