Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Beverage Manager to lead our casino beverage and coffee bar operations. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating a differentiated service experience and ensuring optimum performance of all cocktail service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overall casino beverage and coffee bar operations, including supervising team members and ensuring efficient service.
  • Train team members in beverage service, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.
  • Monitor budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted.
  • Control inventories of beverages, including liquor, and report any shortages to designated personnel.
  • Analyze operational problems, such as theft and waste, and establish procedures to alleviate these problems.
  • Interview, select, and train new team members.
  • Review, adjust, and administer working schedules of team members.
  • Plan work processes and determine effective techniques or processes to be used by team members in the course of business.
  • Understand and adhere to disciplinary policies, including counseling team members and the use of progressive discipline.
  • Address and manage complaints, grievances, or concerns from team members.
  • Effectively use, administer, and manage rewards and recognition for front-line team members.
  • Review the performance, productivity, and efficiency of team members, including periodic evaluations.
  • Recommend or oppose changes in status of team members, including changes from full-time to part-time, promotions, and transfers.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage labor costs and staffing objectives while achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Act as a role model to other employees and present oneself as a credit to the company, encouraging others to do the same.
  • Provide for the safety of team members, including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter, and performing all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Supervise and manage attendance and time records of team members.
  • Effectively manage departmental expenses.
  • Protect and preserve assets of the company.
  • Understand and adhere to bargaining unit agreements.
  • Perform other job-related and compatible duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years progressively more challenging leadership role in casino beverage, restaurant, and/or bar establishment preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to earn and maintain ServSafe certification.
  • Ability to prepare, understand, and analyze Department Budgets, Capital Expenditures, and P&L Statements.
