Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Earthwork Superintendent to join our team at Quality Enterprises USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of multiple crews in mass excavation, detailed excavation, rough and final grading, and demolition of miscellaneous structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple earthwork crews in all aspects of work, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Clearly communicate expectations and responsibilities to crew foremen, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee work schedules, ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulations, and maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
  • Proactively anticipate scheduling needs and potential issues, communicating with upper management as necessary.
  • Prepare and submit required daily reports and paperwork, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a positive work culture, ensuring a high level of job satisfaction and employee engagement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in major heavy highway or bridge construction, including 3 years as a foreman or superintendent.
  • Experience with project management and/or construction software, including proficiency in O365 and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Valid Florida class E driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications, such as LEED AP or PE.
  • Experience with environmental responsibility and sustainability practices.
