Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist II to join our team at St. Peter's Hospital. As a CT Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing CT procedures in accordance with department standards. Responsibilities
  • Obtain and record a complete clinical history pertinent to examination requested.
  • Evaluate requests for appropriateness and refer concerns to coordinator and/or radiologist.
  • Instruct patients as to the nature of the exam being performed.
  • Effectively communicate information regarding post-procedures.
  • Ensure proper radiation protection measures are taken to provide an ALARA environment for patients, co-workers, and self.
  • Responsible for understanding the ALARA program and actively participating in dosimetry program.
  • Effectively complete all required documentation related to patient care, imaging procedures, and RIS requirements.
  • Demonstrate proper use of positioning devices and other equipment necessary to provide safe, accurate, and complete exams.
  • Assist in the instruction of new personnel.
Requirements
  • AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Current ARRT registration, NYS license required, and certification to Inject.
  • Experience on Siemens equipment preferred.

  • A competitive salary range of $53.70 to $53.00 for the Weekend Track Rate.
  • Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
