Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist II to join our team at St. Peter's Hospital. As a CT Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing all CT procedures in accordance with department standards, ensuring proper radiation protection measures are taken, and effectively communicating with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and record a complete clinical history pertinent to examination requested.
  • Evaluate requests for appropriateness and refer concerns to coordinator and/or radiologist.
  • Instruct patients as to the nature of the exam being performed.
  • Effectively communicate information regarding post-procedures.
  • Ensure proper radiation protection measures are taken to provide an ALARA environment for patients, co-workers, and self.
  • Responsible for understanding the ALARA program and actively participating in dosimetry program.
  • Effectively complete all required documentation related to patient care, imaging procedures, and RIS requirements.
  • Demonstrate proper use of positioning devices and other equipment necessary to provide safe, accurate, and complete exams.
  • Assist in the instruction of new personnel.
Requirements
  • AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Current ARRT registration, NYS license required, and certification to Inject.
  • Experience on Siemens equipment preferred.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $53.70, with a weekend track rate of $53.00. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
