We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at a well-established automotive supplier in Troy, MI. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse and shipping facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a stand-up Hilo forklift to move materials and products throughout the facility.
  • Responsible for all phases of facility storage and shipping operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and read and follow all work instructions, safety and quality procedures.
  • Work with our conversion team to ensure the production of quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Qualifications:
  • Remove finished goods from production lines and place in either warehouse location or on shuttle trucks.
  • Adhere to all work instructions, safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Loads and/or unloads trailers and maintains a clean and orderly warehouse.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of all transactions and product scanning.
  • Documents all shipments, both inbound and outbound, and verifies that the quality of the product sent on outbound loads meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Responsible for maintaining ISO standards and participating in weekly inventories.
  • Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.
