Patient Advocacy Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Patient Advocacy Strategist to join our team at ROCS Grad Staffing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and executing a comprehensive patient advocacy strategy.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in patient advocacy and possess strong project management, event planning, and stakeholder management skills. Your expertise in public policy research and analysis will be essential in identifying opportunities to advance patient advocacy goals.
Duties and Responsibilities- Patient Advocacy Strategy Development: Develop and implement state and patient advocacy priorities to support our mission.
- Research and Resource Development: Conduct thorough research, develop, and disseminate patient advocacy resources to stakeholders and patient communities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with patient advocacy organizations, collaborate with state medical societies and sub-specialty organizations, and engage with stakeholders and patient communities.
- Policy-Related Initiatives: Assist with policy-related initiatives, advocacy events, and legislative developments, providing logistical support for committees and events as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree: A relevant field is preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in patient advocacy.
- Skill Set: Strong project management, event planning, and stakeholder management skills; experience in public policy research and analysis; excellent communication and organizational skills.
