Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Night Auditor to join our team at AJS Hotels. As a Front Desk Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Balance and reconcile daily accounts, including credit card transactions and room revenue
  • Respond to customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Support the hotel's hallmark and service standards by providing exceptional customer service
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel, making reservations and answering phone calls as needed
  • Prepare nightly reports and departmental documents
  • Perform nightly computer backups and ensure the security of our financial systems
  • Act as a Front Office Manager or MOD as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in hotel night audit and hospitality preferred
  • Experience with working within spreadsheets required
  • Experience with utilizing Opera preferred
Work Environment

This position operates in the hotel front office, and the individual can expect to work in a fast-paced guest service setting. The position requires finger dexterity to operate office equipment, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking repetitive motion, hearing visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
