Job Overview

The Night Auditor is a critical role at Towneplace Suites Louisville, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk during the overnight shift. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Register guests, make reservations, and handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
  • Night Audit: Prepare and balance daily reports, including revenue printouts, charge and paid folios, vouchers, and checks.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct security walks, ensure all areas are locked and secured, and respond to emergency situations.
  • Guest Services: Handle guest requests, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete the Night Audit checklist, maintain proper record keeping, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing; ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk 50% of the workday, lift and carry up to 45 lbs., and perform other physical demands as required.
