Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitalist Physician to serve as the Section Chief of our Hospital Medicine Section. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading our hospital medicine team, and contributing to the development of our hospital's clinical programs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the hospital setting.
  • Lead and manage the Hospital Medicine Section, including supervising and mentoring hospitalists, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical programs and initiatives to improve patient outcomes and hospital operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of hospital policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and hospital operations.
Requirements
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Hospitalist, with a strong track record of leadership and clinical excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
