Job Description

At Hummingbirds Innovations, we are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Security Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our information systems assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Coordinate Security Efforts: Oversee the security of our information systems, ensuring that all security policies, procedures, and protocols are in place and followed.
  • Develop and Implement Security Plans: Create and implement comprehensive security plans to protect our systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with IT and OT teams to integrate security best practices into our operations.
  • Ensure Compliance: Oversee compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as NIST SP 800-53/53A and STIGs.
  • Manage Risk: Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks to our information systems.
  • Document and Communicate: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security policies, procedures, and risk assessments, and communicate security-related information to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field.
  • Certifications: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NCSF).
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in information systems security management, with a strong background in risk management, compliance, and security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with XACTA 360, Continuum, and other SCAP Compliant tools.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
