About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team at EOSYS Group. As a key player in the industrial automation and integration sector, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in various industries such as Consumer Packaged Goods, Food and Beverage, Chemical, Automotive, Metals, Pulp & Paper, and Power & Utilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Control Systems: Develop and implement control systems for diverse projects, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.
  • System Solution Development: Create and assess different system solutions to meet specified requirements, considering factors such as scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • System Logic Enhancement: Enhance system logic across multiple subsystems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Programming and Networking: Gain expertise in various programming languages and control networks, including Rockwell ControlLogix PLC Programming and networking.
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and define project scopes, ensuring effective communication and project success.
  • Continuous Growth: Thrive in a customer-centric environment and demonstrate continuous personal growth, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Regional Travel: Occasional regional travel may be required to support project needs.
Requirements:
  • Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Degree: Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Industrial Controls Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial controls and system integration, with a focus on software design.
  • Strong Multitasking Skills: Possess strong multitasking skills with keen attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Background in Material Handling or Process Control: Have a background in material handling or process control, with a strong understanding of automation principles.
  • Proficiency in Rockwell ControlLogix PLC Programming: Be proficient in Rockwell ControlLogix PLC Programming and networking.
  • Customer-Facing Experience: Have experience in customer-facing roles within a manufacturing setting, with effective communication skills.
  • Clear Drug Screen and Background Check: Pass a clear drug screen and background check.
Desired Skills:
  • Advanced Motion Control Systems: Experience with advanced motion control systems and servo design.
  • HMI Systems: Proficiency in HMI systems like WonderWare Intouch.
  • Automotive or Food & Beverage Industries: Background in Automotive or Food & Beverage industries, with a strong understanding of industry-specific automation challenges.
  • Project Management Experience: Project management experience with small teams, with a track record of overseeing technical projects from start to finish.
  • Project Management Tools: Familiarity with Project Management tools, including Agile methodologies.
  • Mentorship: Ability to mentor fellow engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive team success.
