About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled A&P Inspector to join our team at StandardAero. As an A&P Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of customer aircraft and ensuring that regulatory and company requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect all types of aircraft, including engines, electrical instruments, structures, controls, environmental control systems, landing gear, and accessories, to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, production approval holder, and military specifications.
  • Determine the serviceability of aircraft systems, parts, and components using precision measuring guides, gauges, instruments, measuring devices, magnification, and non-destructive testing.
  • Accomplish preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspection of all articles repaired, maintained, inspected, or altered by the facility.
  • Comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Quality Procedures (QPs), and Local Work Instructions.
  • Provide procedural guidance to technicians and delegated inspectors, train and assist technicians in proper work procedures and practices.
  • Monitor work in progress to ensure proper paperwork, procedures, techniques, and methods are used.
  • Document inspection results in inspection paperwork and log books, and accomplish final review of work order documentation prior to final release of articles.
  • Research logbooks, prepare logbook entries and sign-offs for approval for Return to Service (RTS), and RTS any article that is maintained or altered by the facility.
Requirements
  • A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years verifiable experience as A&P Mechanic required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
