Job Overview

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer/Specialist to join our team in support of a significant nuclear initiative. This role involves collaborating closely with the project manager and the project team to ensure compliance with nuclear client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) along with quality assurance strategies.
  • Establish and manage the NQA-1 quality system tailored for our client, ensuring all program aspects are meticulously overseen.
  • Act as a liaison with Department of Energy auditors to uphold system integrity.
  • Address and resolve any customer-related issues effectively.
  • Manage documentation in accordance with the NQA-1 standard, ensuring all processes are transparent and traceable.

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the NQA-1 system and standards, enabling them to craft relevant standards and procedures across various project dimensions, including traceability, material handling, and security protocols.

Location: This position supports a nuclear project in New Mexico, with work conducted from our Spring office.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with NQA-1 quality systems.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or Specialist.
  • Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.
  • Possession of an Associate's degree and Certified QMS lead auditor certification.
