About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and major inspections on corporate aircraft, including Embraer Legacy, Prader, and Phenom models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engine Maintenance: Removes and reinstalls engines from turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft, ensuring air-worthiness prior to departure.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Uses sound judgment and technical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair airframe systems, including hydraulics, landing gear, and fuel systems.
  • Inspections and Documentation: Inspects aircraft in accordance with OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance Manuals, documents all work accomplished, and evaluates removed components for serviceability.
  • Service Bulletins and Directives: Accomplishes Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Works collaboratively with the team to implement the right processes and practices across the organization to ensure flight and product efficiency.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate aviation on Embraer Legacy, Prader, or Phenom models.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is required.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift 50 pounds unassisted, walk, bend, stretch, and climb ladders to service aircraft.
