About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician - Pumps to join our team at FLSmidth & Co. A/S. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing pump components to ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Inspection: Assemble pump components, including housings, castings, liners, and other parts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Quality Control: Inspect assembled components for defects, dimensional correctness, and conformance to specifications.
  • Preparation and Testing: Prepare components for assembly by removing paint, grease, or other substances, and perform pressure tests as required.
  • Maintenance and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Uniform and Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintain company-supplied uniforms and equipment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in a manufacturing and production environment, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Cognitive Abilities: Ability to carry out instructions, deal with problems involving several concrete variables, and interpret blueprints.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of health and safety requirements, including fire hazards, compressed gases, electrical, chemical, and mechanical devices.
