Position Overview

This role is designed to immerse the trainee in the comprehensive workings of the mining sector through a series of departmental rotations. The objective is to cultivate a robust operational foundation and enhance managerial capabilities. The trainee will acquire extensive underground exposure while accumulating the necessary experience to qualify for the State Assistant Mine Foreman certification.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Complete Phase I: Engage in a 12–18-month rotation across various departments.
  2. Fill out evaluation forms following each departmental rotation.
  3. Complete Phase II: Focus on either Longwall or Continuous Miner single department rotation.
  4. Monitor all underground and surface operational time throughout the training phases.
  5. Achieve Assistant Mine Foreman Certification.
  6. Contribute to diverse mine projects.
