About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Central Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a key member of our surgical department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Process and sterilize medical/surgical supplies and equipment to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with our surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our sterilization and processing protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and patients to ensure a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • One year experience in processing and sterilization.
  • Current status as a certified registered central service technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Tech (CSPDT).
  • Completion of educational requirements to maintain certification.
