About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Central Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for processing and sterilizing medical/surgical supplies and equipment to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Process and sterilize medical/surgical supplies and equipment
  • Disassemble, clean, disinfect, and reassemble contaminated instruments and equipment
  • Separate and prepare contaminated supplies for cleaning
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Perform duties in a timely manner and provide updates if delays occur
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One year experience in processing and sterilization
  • Current status as a certified registered central service technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Tech (CSPDT)
  • Completion of educational requirements to maintain certification
