Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) is committed to helping individuals with developmental disabilities achieve their full potential. We are seeking a Developmental Disability Advocate to join our team, providing direct support to clients and promoting their independence and self-advocacy.

Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Estimated Salary: $45,000 per year (full-time), $25 per hour (part-time)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Support clients in achieving their personal goals and aspirations
  2. Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and self-advocacy
  3. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support services
  4. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience working in social services, education, or with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
