About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team at Monar Air Conditioning, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems to ensure they meet our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Install and replace HVAC equipment, including air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless split systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC systems to identify and repair any issues or defects.
  • Work safely at heights and in tight working conditions, using extension and step ladders as needed.
  • Operate power and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Use safe lifting procedures and a full range of body motions to perform tasks.
  • Keep company vehicles clean and well-stocked with necessary inventory.
  • Complete paperwork and update records accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest HVAC technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • EPA Universal Certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigerant, gas, and electric furnaces, heat pumps, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent safety knowledge and ability to work safely at heights and in tight spaces.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
