Colorado State University is seeking qualified candidates for a temporary faculty appointment in the Educator Preparation program. As an Instructor of Record, you will teach undergraduate pre-service teaching courses in one or more areas of specialization.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate pre-service teaching courses in one or more areas of specialization, including Early Childhood Education, Art, Foreign Languages, Instructional Technology, Music, Agricultural Education, Business Education, English, Family and Consumer Studies, Marketing Education, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Speech, and Technology Education.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's goals and objectives.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program assessments and evaluations.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities, such as committee work and professional development.
- Masters degree in education or a related field.
- P-12 teaching license and/or a minimum of 3 years professional work experience in P-12 teaching or administration.
- Preferred qualifications include a doctorate degree in education or a related field, experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students using face-to-face and distance technologies, evidence of successful collaboration with public school teachers and administrators, experience in course development, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and practice.
This is a temporary faculty appointment, contingent upon enrollments and need. Reappointment may depend upon performance and the availability of funding.
