Job Description

StandOut Communications LLC is seeking a skilled Transportation Operations Manager to oversee daily in-house transportation operations, manage a team of chauffeurs and dispatchers, and ensure exceptional quality, reliability, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations, team, and fleet, including acquisition, financing, and replacement.
  • Develop product/service strategy and stay up-to-date on luxury transportation solutions and trends.
  • Develop and manage fleet budget, controlling costs and supporting personnel requirements.
  • Ensure established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
  • Create and enforce transportation-related policies and establish production and quality control standards.
  • Conduct investigations with government agencies to determine causes of transportation accidents and improve safety procedures.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and cost, directing maintenance and repair activities.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with shop operations, including compiling and storing production data.
  • Maintain records related to company operations and compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors for maintenance and repairs.
  • Plan and implement energy-saving changes, such as reducing routes or optimizing capacities.
  • Coordinate activities with other company functions to ensure exceptional service provision.
  • Train and ensure assigned employees comply with company, government, and customer policies.
  • Maintain professional business attire.
  • Utilize industry networks and stakeholders to achieve company objectives.
  • Use fleet management software and related products as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in management or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Transportation Operations Manager or in luxury fleet management and coordination.
  • Experience in personnel and material resource management.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage a luxury fleet, including budgeting and developing transportation-related policies.
  • Ability to comply with transportation rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of traffic laws, routes, and traffic patterns in target areas.
  • Knowledge of vehicle operations and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of industry players, solutions, and trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent monitoring skills and attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking, complex problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Social perceptiveness and teamwork.
  • Customer-oriented with highly professional demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules as needed.
  • Reliability and punctuality are a must.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must consent to and pass a background check.
