Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Jimmy John's. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and service of food, ensuring that it is prepared to our high standards
  • Forecast food items and estimate consumption to minimize waste and optimize inventory
  • Supervise the ordering, receipt, storage, and issuing of food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies
  • Assist in the supervision of the preparation, sales, and service of food, including greeting customers, taking orders, and operating the cash register
  • Ensure that every customer receives world-class customer service
  • Route deliveries and serve drivers to maximize delivery business and speed
  • Complete daily and weekly paperwork, including inventory management and cash handling
  • Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
  • Ability to read and write and communicate in English
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer threats and issues
  • Ability to handle and resolve employee issues
  • Skills to use a personal computer and various software packages (Word/Excel)
  • Ability to handle stress and high-volume operations
