Our Space and Defense Division is seeking an Electromechanical Testing Systems Engineer. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Engineering Manager and work on-site.

Your Role
As an Electromechanical Testing Systems Engineer, you will be pivotal in the design and development of hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, servo-mechanism, and electro-pneumatic systems and components utilized for product testing at Moog, Inc. This role encompasses the creation of advanced electrical testing apparatus, assemblies, and processes that align with our performance, cost, and scheduling objectives. You will play a crucial role in developing test systems that validate the functional performance of products for military, commercial, and aerospace applications.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master of Science in Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to involvement with specific military programs.
  • Experience with DOORS is advantageous.

Your Responsibilities
As an Electromechanical Testing Systems Engineer, you will:
  • Be an integral member of a dynamic team of innovative thinkers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop new testing solutions.
  • Conduct trade studies and analyses to validate conceptual solutions.
  • Integrate electronic components into comprehensive systems and test the final designs.
  • Oversee and mentor Assembly and Test technicians involved in your projects.
  • Provide input on project timelines and development efforts.
  • Maintain detailed engineering records, documenting changes and their impacts on performance.
  • Initiate and conduct specialized research independently.
  • Ensure reliable designs through thorough experimental testing programs.
  • Document designs, analyses, and test outcomes with precision and clarity.

Salary Information
The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $105,000 annually.
