About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Inspector - Manufacturing to join our team at Moog. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and perform complex first piece inspections and first article inspections to AS9100 standards to determine manufacturing process effectiveness and operator/technician competency.
  • Assess process risk due to variations in setup, tools used, ambiguous instructions, measuring equipment limitations, human factors, and sub-optimum manufacturing methods.
  • Aid in business system audits and product audits.
  • Inspect parts using inspection techniques and layouts of varying complexity.
  • Aid in manufacturing and production management to ensure workmanship standards are being met.
  • Assist all engineering disciplines to support process improvement and investigative inspection activities.
  • Help train operators and inspectors on best practices, procedures, and inspection techniques.
  • Assist in problem-solving activities to provide evaluation support for identified nonconformities.
  • Proficiency in the use and understanding of automated and manual measuring and test equipment.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a technological field.
  • 5 years of experience in a Quality Inspection discipline, or 10 years of experience in a Quality Inspection discipline specializing in First Piece and First Article Inspection.

Salary Range

The base pay range for this opportunity is $60,000 to $108,804.80 per year.
