Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC) is seeking a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at CIFC Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
The successful candidate will evaluate and treat patients with mental and behavioral health disorders, including substance abuse disorders, in an outpatient community health setting. They will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to oversee treatment and medication management for a diverse pediatric/adolescent patient population.
This position will also involve working with our Psychiatric Residents in a training and supervisory capacity.
The ideal candidate will possess a Physician's license and CSR from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health. Board certification or the ability to become certified is required. Previous clinical responsibility, including crisis intervention, brief assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, and substance abuse treatment, is essential. At least 1 year's experience and previous supervision are preferred.
