Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Create a positive and engaging experience for all customers, ensuring prompt and courteous service.

  • Operational Excellence: Assign registers, support POS coverage, and coordinate breaks for Associates, ensuring seamless store operations.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with management and Associates, providing progress updates and addressing priorities.
  • Adaptability: Respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations, prioritizing tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Availability: Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Merchandising Knowledge: Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Leadership Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

As a Department Coordinator at TJ Maxx, you will enjoy a competitive starting pay range of $15.35 to $15.85 per hour, plus a range of benefits, including Associate discount, EAP, and 401(k) Associate contributions.
