Position Summary

The role involves coordinating with fellow manufacturing personnel to meet customer demands, including assembly and coating tasks, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities

General Responsibilities:
Operates under close supervision, with frequent monitoring of output.
Follows established, routine procedures to complete assigned tasks.
May engage in more advanced functions as part of training and development.
Selects from a variety of established methods to execute duties.
Addresses routine inquiries and issues, escalating more complex problems as necessary.
Errors may lead to minor delays, costs, and disruptions.
Assembles final products according to customer specifications, collaborating with team members to organize tasks requiring multiple participants.
Utilizes manual and automated lifting equipment while adhering to safety standards.

Communicates information and coordinates action plans during cross-functional meetings, addressing issues with team members to facilitate corrective measures.

The individual must be willing to work overtime as needed and adapt to conflicting deadlines, shifting priorities, and ongoing interruptions.

Manages and maintains spare parts inventory, ordering as necessary to fulfill customer requests.
Aids in maintaining area organization according to 5S principles.
Stays informed about spare parts inventory locations for efficient order fulfillment.
Conducts preventive maintenance on tools in the area per established schedules, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
May undertake additional duties as assigned.

If coating is part of the responsibilities, the following tasks apply:

Coating Responsibilities:
Execute manual conformal coating of products according to specifications.
Prepare assemblies for automated coating processes and operate necessary equipment.
Maintain spray equipment, including spray guns and booths.
Ensure proper handling and labeling of assemblies and components.
Accurately document daily thickness logs and maintain MES records.
Utilize barcode scanners and small hand tools.
Visually inspect assemblies for correct masking and material placement.

Work under the direct supervision of a manufacturing supervisor or designated management personnel.

Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids.
Ensure the assigned area is clean and organized in accordance with 5S standards.
Adhere to all safety and health regulations as directed by the supervisor.
Comply with all procedures outlined in the company security policy.

Qualifications
Knowledge Requirements

Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, and the public.

Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Proficient in operating a personal computer, including familiarity with Windows-based systems and related software.
Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
Ability to write simple correspondence and understand visual aids.
Ability to apply common sense to carry out straightforward instructions.
Ability to manage standardized situations with minimal variables.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations in various units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret graphs.
