About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Tech to join our team at Saint Luke's Health System. As a Behavioral Health Tech, you will play a critical role in providing a safe and therapeutic environment for children, adolescents, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision and support to assigned children during work shifts to maintain patient safety.
  • Observe, report, and record patient behaviors under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Implement behavioral interventions described in the child's treatment plan.
  • Conduct educational and treatment-focused groups with patients as appropriate, with training and supervision.
  • May be trained as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to administer medications to the long-term residential population.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of related experience, preferably working with at-risk youth. (Bachelor's degree in a related field will substitute for experience.)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be 21 years old to apply.
  • Basic Life Support (will train).
