Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Swagelok Indiana | Cincinnati. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and developing significant revenue by executing key strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish deep customer relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, and develop a strong working knowledge of their processes, application, and business model.
- Develop and maintain territory and account plans that are aligned with our company's Strategic Plan.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to audiences that consist of executives and engineers.
- Create and demonstrate a competitive distinction by identifying and implementing value and cost-saving initiatives designed to lower the customers' total cost of ownership.
- Embrace learning for self-development/improvement, be curious, seek to understand, and respect the diversity of thought.
- Be self-aware, aspire to help others, and provide outstanding customer service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred (mechanical, chemical, or fluid technology).
- 3-5 years or more experience working in sales, business development, or marketing is preferred.
- Technical experience in engineering, analytical instrumentation, automotive, alternative fuels, or similar industries is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
- Knowledge of a broad range of fluid system components and applications is preferred.
- Mastery and use of the Common-Sense Selling Process.
- Creative and critical thinking skills.
- Strong business acumen.
