Job Responsibilities:

The RN Inbound Coordinator directs the campus destination of patients arriving to the Emergency Department (ED) via ambulance, nursing facilities, and physician office practices/Urgent Care clinics. Manages inbound calls from local private ambulance services and fire department ambulance services when transporting priority patients to the ED.

The RN Inbound Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of patients through the Emergency Department. This includes coordinating with nursing facilities, physician office practices, and Urgent Care clinics to ensure that patients are directed to the appropriate area of the ED.

Qualifications:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing required
  • BSN is strongly preferred
  • Associate's degree in nursing may be considered. Must enroll in BSN within year
  • BLS required
  • 1-2 years of Critical Care Experience
  • 3 Years of Emergency Department RN Experience
