We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our Adolescent Partial Hospital Program at Alita Care, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct clinical services to assigned patients, including individual and family treatment interventions, case management, and utilization review.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily group therapy sessions and assume the role of social worker for assigned patients.
- Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans within 24 and 48 hours, respectively.
- Provide and maintain contact with collateral supports, including outpatient therapists, prescribers, and family members.
- Coordinate and organize meetings with outpatient providers and school personnel as necessary.
- Communicate treatment progress and discharge recommendations to the treatment team.
- Consult with other team members on issues related to case management and disposition planning.
- Maintain daily progress notes and complete group notes for all groups performed.
- Ensure appropriate case management and aftercare appointments with providers.
- Conduct utilization review on assigned cases.
- Document all clinical and collateral contacts and case management activities in a timely and professional manner.
- Master's degree in social work or counseling from an accredited institution.
- License eligibility in the state of Massachusetts.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Experience working with adolescents in a partial hospital or inpatient setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of major mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, and their impact on families.
- Understanding of developmental stages and clinical implications regarding abandonment.
- Knowledge of substance use disorders and associated treatments.
- Knowledge of family systems dynamics and group therapy principles.
- Ability to conduct individual assessments and provide effective clinical documentation.
- Ability to climb stairs and walk between buildings.
- Ability to use a telephone and computer.
- Ability to sit for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to provide crisis intervention techniques when necessary.
