Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction operations for highway projects within designated regions or across multiple intricate assignments.
- Develop, design, budget, and coordinate activities related to transportation construction or maintenance.
- Evaluate technical documents and plans submitted by external consultants.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and budgetary controls; perform inspections to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
- Monitor fleet usage and report on condition and requirements following established protocols.
- Offer technical guidance, support, and training to foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- State Entry Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and six months of pertinent experience.
- OR Associate's degree in a related field and one year of experience.
- OR One year in a comparable role.
- Agency Specific Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or construction engineering.
- Exhibit outstanding communication abilities and professionalism.
- Make informed decisions and organize information effectively.
- Uphold high ethical standards and prioritize customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a transportation or civil engineering environment.
