Maternal and Fetal Care Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Baylor University Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of expectant mothers and their families.

About the Role:
This is a full-time opportunity that requires a minimum of one year of experience in Labor and Delivery, preferably at a level III or higher. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, utilizing fetal and maternal monitoring equipment, managing patient pain, and assisting physicians during delivery, treatment, examination, and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional patient care, including administering epidural and patient-controlled analgesia administration
* Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems
* Educate patients and families on labor, pain, and newborn care
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:
* BSN or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
* RN-Registered Nurse licensure in Texas
* ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
* NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification within 30 days of hire
* BLS-Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire

Salary:
$94,120 - $122,240 per year based on experience
