About the Job:
Medical City Children's Congenital Heart Surgery Center seeks a part-time Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their premier group. This is a day position with shared call responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Perform age-appropriate history and physical, ongoing clinical assessments for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill perioperative and post-operative patients. Order and interpret diagnostic tests relative to patient needs. Provide relevant management, referrals, counseling, and education to patients and families. Prescribe appropriate treatment modalities. Demonstrate proficiency in technical/procedural skills. Facilitate patient transition within and between healthcare settings. Use EMR in delivering care. Participate in weekly Multidisciplinary Case Conferences.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care Program or Physician Assistant program. Current APRN licensure or PA licensure. Current Nurse Practitioner certification in Pediatric Acute Care. Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Eligible for hospital privileges. Previous experience with Pediatric Cardiac ICU or Congenital Heart Surgery required.

Benefits Package:
Employed position. Competitive salary ($140,000 - $170,000 per year based on location and experience). Comprehensive benefits package including 401k and paid malpractice. Paid time off, CME, and dues allowance.
