Quality and Continuous Improvement Specialist III

At Blue Origin, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Quality and Continuous Improvement Specialist III, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our spacecraft and launch vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and quality enhancements.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality management systems and processes.
  • Lead quality-related projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in quality management, auditing, or a related field.
  • AS9100 or ISO9001 auditing experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified as AS9100D / ISO9001 / APQP Lead Auditor.
  • Experience with external audit and supporting USG Compliance.
  • Aerospace, space launch, or military or commercial aviation experience preferred.
