Job Responsibilities

Please Note: An active Florida Nail Technician License is required for this position.

The CTE Nail Technology Educator will play a vital role in delivering our high school curriculum. Responsibilities include:
  • Exhibiting expertise in the teaching discipline.
  • Continuously enhancing instructional quality through innovative practices and methodologies.
  • Demonstrating awareness and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of students.
  • Inspiring and motivating students in a supportive learning environment.
  • Developing and implementing varied teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback.
  • Maintaining accurate student records and submitting necessary documentation.
  • Reviewing and recommending educational materials.
  • Utilizing equipment and facilities responsibly.
  • Incorporating technology effectively in the classroom.
  • Building professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
  • Monitoring student attendance and engagement.
  • Participating in recruitment and marketing efforts for the program.
  • Engaging in departmental and school meetings.

Qualifications

Required
  • Active Florida Nail Technician License.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the nail technology field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current practices in the Nail Technician industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in training and mentoring.
