Job Summary
As a Radiologic Technologist at St. Bernards Medical Center, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures using complex equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray, CT, and other equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and explaining instructions
• Operate imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality images
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with other clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices

Requirements
• Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in a school approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology
• Licensure by the Arkansas Department of Health
• At least two years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a hospital setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 250 pounds, and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Working Conditions
This is a safety-sensitive position, and employees are expected to adhere to the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy. The role also involves exposure to radiological hazards and requires close eye work, normal hearing, and oral communication skills.
