About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst I to join our Property Pricing Modernization team at USAA. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing new products, projecting future results, repricing existing products, and determining financial strength.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply your knowledge of actuarial modeling software to price, value, and manage risk.
  • Enter data, run models, and generate reports to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address critical experience areas.
  • Develop and maintain accurate pricing models to achieve profitability and competitive goals.
  • Identify sources of gain and loss by product and assumption.
  • Test pricing assumptions and premiums for new products.
  • Resolve issues and navigate obstacles to deliver high-quality work products.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in actuarial science, business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in actuarial analysis, business, or a related field.
  • CAS exams: 1, 2, 3F, MA S-I, and MA S-II + all VEEs completed.
  • Prior experience with Python and/or SQL.
  • Personal Lines pricing experience.
