The AWS Infrastructure Services team is dedicated to the strategic design, planning, execution, and management of all global infrastructure for AWS. This division plays a crucial role in supporting AWS data centers and ensuring that our customers have uninterrupted access to cutting-edge innovations. We are looking for a proactive Cost Control Engineer to enhance our team across North and South America.
Primary Responsibilities:- Leverage analytical tools for bid evaluation and financial oversight
- Oversee and coordinate with external Quantity Surveyor partners
- Collaborate with diverse teams on a global scale
- Effectively communicate objectives related to cost management
- Spot and propose Value Engineering initiatives
- Maintain and update the historical cost data repository
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction cost management
- At least 2 years of experience in Data Center construction
- Proficiency in estimating software applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Competence in the MS Office Suite
