Job Overview

TruFit Athletic Clubs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Manager to lead our fitness team and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Exceed club goals through personal training, small group personal training, supplements, and personal sales.
  • Team Leadership: Own new member on-boarding and deliver a dynamic, quality fitness experience to all members.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure total team execution of all company quality assurance standards.
  • Staff Development: Hire, train, and develop a strong team of Personal Trainers.
  • Program Management: Manage small group personal training staffing and execution in partnership with key program leaders.
  • Leadership Role: Maintain leadership role as the fitness expert for the club team and members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Personal Sales: Drive personal sales through effective sales strategies and techniques.
  • Staffing and Development: Conduct regular meetings with direct reports to review performance and offer direction, motivation, guidance, and accountability to exceeding goals and objectives.
  • Scheduling: Manage the fitness schedule to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
  • Member Experience: Ensure all members have access to a service-oriented, well-trained, expert fitness team that provides fitness guidance, training, and programs.
  • Program Delivery: Ensure all Personal Trainers deliver high-quality programs to their clients.
  • Administration: Ensure accurate administration of Personal Training, including client profiles, progress tracking, and workout programs.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Complete personal training sessions and/or small group training as necessary.
Requirements
  • Certifications / Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred; Current Certified Personal Trainer certification (preferred); Current CPR and AED.
  • Experience: 1-2 years as a personal trainer (preferred); Prior management experience in the fitness industry leading 5-10+ employees (preferred); Successful personal sales experience (required).
